Website analytics and your cookie choice
We use our own first-party counters to understand which public pages and quote steps are most useful. These counters do not use analytics cookies. We also offer optional Google Analytics 4, which remains completely off until you select Accept analytics.
- The counters record the public page or quote step, date and London time, broad service type and a cleaned campaign or referring-domain label where available.
- A random browser-session value may be converted into a one-way hash so steps in the same visit can be counted without identifying the visitor.
- After consent, Google Analytics receives the public page path, limited event labels such as quote opened, commercial interest or enquiry completed, and standard browser, device and approximate-location information produced by the service. Query strings and form contents are not sent.
- Neither system receives your name, email address, telephone number, postal address, booking reference, booking notes or uploaded photos.
- Administrator pages, private customer links, booking-confirmation pages and feedback-token pages are excluded from Google Analytics.
- Advertising storage, ad personalisation and Google advertising signals are disabled. The information is not used for targeted advertising.
- As with any hosted analytics service, Google receives the network connection needed to deliver Analytics. Limpify does not add that address to a booking record or receive it as a customer field.
- Raw visit records are automatically removed after 13 months.
- You can accept, reject or later change your choice through the Cookie settings button on any public page. Rejecting removes Limpify’s Google Analytics cookies from the browser.
Lawful basis: our legitimate interest for the cookie-free first-party counters; consent for Google Analytics.

How cleaning photos are handled
- Photos are used only to understand the work, prepare an accurate quote and plan the service.
- They are stored privately and are available only to authorised Limpify team members who need them.
- They are not published, sold or used for marketing.
- Where the customer’s browser supports the photo format, the image is re-encoded before upload to remove embedded phone and location metadata.
- Please avoid including faces, children, personal documents, screens, medication or valuable items.
- You may ask us to delete photos sooner. We will do so unless we still need them for an active booking, complaint or legal obligation.
- Background retention checks run during normal website activity; the business does not need to open the admin dashboard to start them.

How long we keep information
We review information regularly and delete or anonymise it when it is no longer needed. Different records have different purposes:
Unconfirmed-request photos expire after 60 days. Confirmed-booking photos expire within 60 days after the scheduled clean.
If a confirmed booking has no recorded cleaning date, its photos expire after 120 days. A temporary hold may be used only for an active complaint, insurance matter or legal requirement.Up to 12 months after our last contact.
This lets us answer follow-up questions and understand previous quotes without asking you to repeat everything. Uploaded photos follow the shorter automatic deletion periods above.Up to 6 years where required for tax, accounting, insurance or legal record-keeping.
We keep only the information needed for those records; cleaning photos follow the shorter 60-day period above.Private feedback is normally kept for up to 24 months. Published reviews remain until removed, replaced or permission is withdrawn.
Your email address is never displayed publicly.Up to 13 months.
Our first-party counters use no analytics cookies. Optional Google Analytics is configured with a 13-month cookie lifetime and runs only after consent. Neither system receives names, contact details, booking references or uploaded photos.Short-lived rate-limit records expire after about 3 days. Administrator security activity is retained for up to 180 days.
Network addresses are converted into one-way hashes for these records; the raw address is not stored in the application database.Daily recovery points expire automatically after 30 days.
Backups are encrypted before private storage, are unavailable through the normal dashboard and are used only for disaster recovery. Deleted active records may remain in a protected backup until that recovery point expires.Until you unsubscribe or after 24 months without engagement, whichever comes first.
Marketing is optional and separate from service messages about a booking.07
